THE MOBILE DATA TERMINAL (MDT including MDVR)
The Audax MDT has been built to survive in the most challenging conditions. It is shock mounted in 3 planes and also has internal shock and vibration damping for additional protection of the internal components. The unit comes with both cooling fans and a heater, as standard, which will ensure that the correct operating temperature is reached and maintained whatever the environment.
The MDT uses the latest components such as Dual-Core processors, up to 3GB RAM and large 250GB Hard Drives. Incorporating other features which include GPS, GPRS and a 1 - 4 channel Mobile Digital Video Recorder, the MDT offers the ultimate performance and scalability in a powerful computer.
Our MDT comes on its own mounting plate and has a small footprint therefore taking up as little space as necessary in the rear of the vehicle. The construction is such that it is a simple matter to reach any connections, peripherals, or indeed swap a unit out, which can be done without removing the mounting plate.
The Audax MDT is built by us, to our own design, unlike many other "off the shelf" computers supplied for the mobile market. So, in the unlikely event that a problem arises, we will be in a position to deal with any issues and not have to rely on third parties.
