| VEHICLE PROTECTION - COVERT ARMOUR PROTECTION SYSTEM
Overview.
An ‘Add on’ Armour Solution, which requires little to no vehicle workshop time.
The solution allows rapid interchange ability between vehicles, ease to store and ship.
The design allows for flexibility in either the mounted or ‘debus’ / un-mounted role.
Provides improved survivability to vehicle occupants that is proven tried and tested.
A Generic Covert Armour Protection System (up to but not including the glass)
The system comprises:
4 x door panels with hard armour insert plate – 2 front and 2 back. The panels are attached to the inner door panel of the vehicle by industrial strength Velcro, making for easy and rapid deployment to an alternative vehicle. Can be used as shields in ‘hot extraction’ situation. |

4 x seat covers with long ‘train’ providing protection against under-floor blast and shrapnel. Can be used as stretchers and carried by two or four persons. |

Head protection comprising hard armour insert plate and soft armour backing, attaches to car headrest. 4 sets are supplied per unit; one for each seat. |

Additional panels can be providing according to the vehicle to be used (e.g. back door panels, boot inserts, etc). |

Supplied in two ‘mission bags’ which can be transported in the trunk of the sedan when not in use |

Protection Levels
The ceramic-faced armour plate when tested in conjunction with the accompanying ‘soft’ armour pack defeated and prevented the perforation of the following ammunition:
